I totally get you but show me some older homes that were built better. They weren’t there was no inspections back in the day. We do mostly new home but when we do renovations I can’t believe the shotty work that passed on some of the old homes

You really do need to check your builder out and do site visits along the way. Ask them how many they build in a year and what checks they do along the way. View other customer's homes...look at the little stuff like joints, edges, caulking...don't just trust a show home and if there are deficiencies in the show home, run cuz that's their best foot forward 🤣

I had a window like that in my brand new house! builder originally installed the wrong window! instead of changing it, they came back 3 times and had 3 different trades in there to fix the bow 🤣 would have been cheaper to just out the right window in properly the first time or after we caught it 😡
