As of the time I saw this video, the Ryzen 5 9600X is selling for the same price as the 7600X, and the Ryzen 7 9700X is only about £50 more, so if I were to just graze over budget a bit, is it worth the splash out?

Ryzen 7500f, cheapest thermalright air cooler, (forgot what it’s called but u don’t need any more then that for a 7500f) cheapest b650 (from a reputable brand) , Rx 9070, cheapest 32gb ram over 6000mhz, cheapest case (who cares what it looks like, performance is more important) cheapest 750w bronze+ power supply (from a reputable brand), cheapest m.2 gen 4 ssd. Now u have a pc that will do 1440p high settings 100fps+ on any game easily. ($1080usd, slightly over budget but worth it) and will wipe the floor with what hes built (not saying the pc he’s built is bad at all, but a fitting a 9070 in the budget will increase gaming performance up 60%)

the motherboard is overkill for what you have so far, you should spend more on the cpu and less on the motherboard because now the cpu is going to limit the possibilities of the motherboard

not too long ago I built myself a system with: ASUS TUF Gaming B850M-PLUS WiFi motherboard, ryzen 7 9700X, CORSAIR Vengeance 32gb cl30, and a used Rx 7800 XT, with a 80+ gold 850W power supply. in an Asus prime ap201 case, and of course a few thermal right fans, and a twin fan tower cooler.
