If putting them in their crate for a nap when biting, is that not using the crate as punishment in their eyes? Also, my pup will go in to her crate no problem but not stay asleep very long in their, how do I work round that? X

What do I do when my 11 month old puppy still wants to bite people’s hands while she’s playing?

Question about sleeping! Do we move the crate from the play pen to our bedroom for overnight or leave it in the playpen in the main room and just lay on the couch next to the puppy until it settles and doesn’t feel alone?

How do you put a puppy down for a nap? That’s confusing to me. I’m assuming you don’t force them to stay in the crate

My son plays with our puppy and she bites and he laughs... Now he wants it to stop and of course for her it's a game

this advice is so helpful, but i have a question. I bought your guide and this routine confused me so much. you're saying 30-45 minute wake times, *maybe* an hour, but the wfh routine example here has hour and a half wake times. can you clarify a bit?

What if they’re going for your feet and you try to remove yourself, but they latch on? Sometimes other toys don’t help

Do you know anything about displacement behaviour and overarousal? Really struggling with this with my 10 month old goldie and there’s not really much I can find on redirecting displacement behaviour and managing his arousal. He goes from 0-100 in excitement over the smallest thing like guests coming into the house, brushing him, playing with him, even just petting him can sometimes lead into it and at night during the witching hour. Then because he’s sooo giddy his behaviour turns into jumping, h*mping and biting and because he’s so excited, it does more damage than he intends to :/

can you do something like this for around 9 months? we just adopted an aussie jack russel mix and she has SO much energy and is constantly mouthy. which i understand is partially because shes a herding breed and a puppy. we just want to get the mouthing under control
