Corvette with a retractable roof doesn’t seem like something you would sell easy in cold weather. If you buy it I would hold it til summer. It’ll be worth more.

as a former used car dealer I would run from that vette trade. 80s are not very desirable and would be 4 grand tops to resell. IMO you're truck would sell at like 4500

Went from "I'm gonna dump a bunch time and money into this 27yr old truck cuz it's worth $10k" to "there's not a huge market for these trucks". Cut the loss, don't trade sideways again. Should've sold the cart and made the profit... think of the time you would've saved by now.

Listen, those corvettes are relatively desirerable but not comparable to the truck tho, keep in mind it will be easier to sell the truck. Take the one that will ultimately sells for a higher price

If you trade for the Vette. You will need some cash on your side. I.E. $8000 for truck $4000 for Vette cash money $4000. If the dude doesn’t want to deal with it move on.
