@inquiremysire: I love 🇺🇸 and 🇯🇵 so much. I don’t recommend people move to Japan, but I highly encourage visiting. Be respectful though! #japaneseculture
us being richest has nothing to do with quality of life- japan is walkable, clean, relatively safe, peaceful.... all things the US is not

I am black. I am not really wanted anywhere. So Japan, Australia, Antarctica, it is all similar to me.

I've lived in Japan as a foreigner, it's way better to just leverage the foreigner pass. Who cares if no one wants you there. Just get a GF and a job, and you'll be fine. Also, join a small language exchange group or church for social interactions.

10% of the people own 87% of the wealth. It's gilded age France here, bro

I love loving in Japan, not raised here. People make mistakes in social situations regardless of this situation. No one is perfect. This guy is just being dramatic

The cool thing is as an autistic person, I don't understand the social rules here either. Honestly, having a foreigner card sounds like an improvement.

Even I as a Japanese-American know that it's impossible. I understand nuances of Japanese culture and behavior intuitively from growing up with Japanese parents which people I know who have lived in Japan for decades still don't get. I do have a couple friends who get it better than most but it's nearly impossible to get even to that level. And even with my understanding I would never attempt to live in Japan. I know enough to know it is impossible

I hear what you’re saying. What if I just moved there to have peace and quiet until I die with as little interaction with the natives. Think that’s possible?

As a black woman, this message is not for me. I live in a country that already doesn’t want me. I thrive in other places because I’m used to the unspoken intricacies of not being wanted.

Agree with you up the the very last part. no, that's not enough. At least here in Japan i have the benefit of a stable, functioning society.

The vast majority of America's riches are owned by only the top 1-2% of the population 💀 I'm not refuting your points about Japan, just wanted to clarify that last talking point. The economy is collapsing & the average working class US citizen is struggling more and more every year, it makes sense why some people may want to seek possibilities elsewhere.
