I’m having my first outbreak right now and it’s sooo bad, I can barely walk it’s a lot. I’ve been on the aciclivor pills (3 a day) for the past 2 days now (I’ve been having symptoms for 5 days now). Do you think it’ll start to clear up soon. I literally can’t stand it anymore 😭

I get flare ups only when my immune system is down i used to get flare ups at least once a month now I barely get them after I’ve started eating very clean and healthy a lot of protein and fiber (I’m plant based as well) and exercising when I don’t I can tell the difference

I have hsv2. going on 3 years I've had one bad outbreak; and two flare ups. my flare ups tho don't have break outs it Because eefcts my nervous system where I'm super weak and can't even feel as I can stand.

I just had a hysterectomy and I thought for sure I’d have the worst flare up because of what my body went through and nothing so far, I’m not taking AVs during my recovery either and I can’t be intimate with anyone for 3 months anyway but Im just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I only take when a flare up is happening. this year I also had a back to back flare up the summer the first one felt like it was getting it for the first time ever all over again. I HATED IT

I’m on daily antivirals and don’t think I’ve ever had a flare up on them! I feel like I’ve felt prodrome symptoms a couple times but never developed into anything. This virus is so interesting

15 years into this journey and I still get them, usually stress related. and your body will tell you at times. you'll start to feel exhausted for no reason or get extra sensitive. I tired those daily meds and honestly made no change after having it for so many years. just use them now once I get an outbreak to increase the healing process speed. thanks again for your content good luck to any one out there.
