That comment brought tears to my eyes. Just lost my mom to Alzheimer’s in January. Spent hours with her daily, and my most difficult time, was when I wasn’t by her side 🥹 I feel your pain, bless you!

I have never never forgotten one moment when he walked into the living room and saw me and got upset. He said "there you are, I've been looking for you everywhere." He had such a look of distress then relief on his face. It broke my heart that he had been looking for me in his little world. I've never lost the pain in my heart from that moment.

I get you girl! My Mom went through the same thing. We had to put her in a place and it broke my heart. Every time your phone rings you jump. Thank God she only made 4 months there she would not have wanted to live like that

Oh how I know these worries 💔. My dad just passed Aug 29th. I spent a year worrying about him in memory care. They were amazing but it’s never like it is when you’re with them 24/7! (((HUGS)))

Until you are a Caregiver you never know how hard it is. You’re doing a great job is nice to hear but there is times I don’t believe it is true. I’m torn always to walk away from my Mom knowing I need time for myself but feel guilty when I do. It’s so hard. Big hugs Kam.

I get it. My Grandma goes and spends a week with her sister a couple times a year. I get panicky and all I do is worry. Its supposed to be a break for me but it is never really a break. and then I miss her on top of it.
