Not necessarily. When I do agressive cuts, I’m burning about 2800 calories tdee and eating 1800. I do it for two months max and I just burn more by more activity, more walking. Aggressive cut to me = big deficit, never 1200 calories. But it’s just short term to get over humps and you reverse out of it

How do i know if I’m eating too little or too much? I’ve lost so much weight but not much fat. And lost so much muscle mass

I just finished a bodybuilding prep a few months ago and luckily my food calories only went down to 1550 as someone who’s 5’2” but my stair master time got up to 180min/week + 1hr of running 💀 as someone who’s was used to cutting calories, increasing activity was definitely helpful and a nice change for me to diet down. Luckily I only gained 5lbs going back to intuitive eating though! 💗

When I saw a man on my FYP recommend I cut my maintenance calories by 800 for 3 months, I said “Chile anyways..”

@Caitlin🩷✨: If my maintenance is 2,463 I’m 5’2 242lbs (on weight loss journey I’ve lost about 50 so far) I eat average 800-1100 calories a day with ONE cheat meal a week (Friday nights family goes out to eat) no regular sugary drinks, around 80-100g of protein a day, typically less than 25 carbs a day and a goal of 47 or less of fat everyday that I typically meet. Typically clean eating, I meal prep for the week (usually chicken, boiled egg, cheese, salad( with half serving size of dressing) or pepperoni, and dinner usually a meat, veggie, overall fairly clean eating. I go to the gym M-Th for atleast an hour typically 30-45 of that is cardio the rest is weightlifting. I keep stalling. I’ll lose a couple, then stay the same weight sometimes for 2-3 weeks. Do you know what the cause of this may be? Is this normal? Am I eating too many calories? Too little? Could my diet need work? More time at the gym?? No cheat meals at all?? Any advice would be great❤
