I’d say that it’s adequately explained if you have anything from a zombie come into contact with your organs you get infected. He may have swallowed some blood or smth and not realised

Whole episode doesnt make sense bc thanos is an eternal with a deviant mutation, we all seen that ikaris couldnt get infected bc he is not organic being (eternal).
