@hotmesstohotjess: Here’s to my last day in the radiotherapy changing room 🥹, hopefully I never have to see that hospital cape gown again 😂 2 Surgeries and 15 radiotherapy sessions later, I’m so happy that I feel I can start to think about the future again! There’s still a journey to go on as I need to discuss fertility options before I start hormone therapy for 5-10 years, as this hormone treatment will put me into artificial menopause, but I am so grateful I’m CANCER FREEEEEE! 🩷 hormone therapy will be to prevent recurrence due to the type of cancer I had feeding off oestrogen, so I will need that until I essentially reach natural menopause. For now, I’m taking a bit of time to rest and reset before trying to get back to some normality. I’m so grateful for all the support and kindness I’ve had, from Ryan, my family, friends, my work and all the amazing staff so far ❤️ It’s not the end of the process but it is the end of one big chapter, and I’m so glad to be on the other side of it (sorry for so many cliches 😂, but it really is a journey!!) 🩷 PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP CHECKING YOUR BREASTS!
