if it's about gospels being written later, what of the Quran that came 500yrs later? the gospels share a lot in common; the theme is same, birth, the miracles, the parables, the death and resurrection.

So, should we not bother reading Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon? These are the ones that were written by Paul.
