In the past month, the song has racked up over 113,000 creations on the platform and over 144 million views! In addition, the track has seen a 102% increase across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, compared month-to-month. Dolly performs the song here on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1977. Dolly first recorded the song with Chet Atkins for his 1976 album The Best of Chet Atkins & Friends, but Dolly didn't record a solo version until her 1982 album Heartbreak Express. This version was released as a double-A side single with Dolly's re-recording of "I Will Always Love You" from The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and topped the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart on October 16, 1982. She would record it again with Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt for Trio II. The song, however, was a staple in Dolly's live show. Dolly and her background singers would take center stage and sing in four-part harmony.
