Seems like the foam peel and stick tiles are super popular but very true it’s not renter friendly however what about putting a barrier in between? like contact paper that is renter friendly or another barrier

maybe you could do a layer of removable contact paper under to make removal easier 🤔

Put up an easier to remove wall paper first and then the tiles on top of the wall paper. That will make tear off easier. ❤️❤️❤

they make heat and mold resistant peel and stick. theres special adhesives also

okay, this is insane, butttttt you can masking tape the outline of real tiles, use command strips to stick the tiles on, and then carefully grout. the masking tape should prevent the grout from soaking into the wall and it's all removable

Wait what a good idea to put it on something! Then I can use 3M to stick that up so it’s not a permanent thing and won’t damage to take down!

i got poster boards and painters tape. taped the poster board to the wall, put the tiles on top. when i move i’ll just take the whole thing down in one go and either toss it or reuse it for my next place.
