My god, thats the most profoundly stupid thing I've ever heard. You know people with government jobs dont get paid during a shutdown right? You know politics effects the cost of living right? Including gas prices, grocery prices, average pay etc. Like from gas to your ability to access and receive healthcare, to quality of education everything is effected by politics

I don’t really know I feel like that’s kind of ignorant to say just cause like I know plenty of people who were affected (nurses, military workers, law enforcement) who just have to keep working without pay, plenty of people were affected even if you weren’t.
