My children attend a country school in Montana. It’s a two room school house with 4 students and one teacher. It’s amazing for them to get so much one on one time.

Please add more stuff to the Amazon wishlist. I just purchased the only thing left…a lonely bottle of conditioner.

Do you purchase a set online curriculum per child? Or does the school have one?

Sounds like a modern day Little House on the Prairie, and the center of the community.

We lived in a big city in the south my son has ADHD & struggled in math we moved to a small town in the NE when he went into the 5th grade we told the teacher his struggle with math she took him outside & showed him how math & nature goes together, from that point on he excelled in math, it was a small class being a small mountain town & the education was far superior then the big city school, hands down one of the best decision as a Mama I ever made for him.

Sounds like homeschooling at school lol. I’ve heard that called the “bus stop method” where the kids “get off the bus” when they’ve reached their learning limit for that subject

This sounds phenomenal!! Is this common in more remote areas to have the self pace group learning experience? We homeschool but I could see this being very fun for the kids!

I love this! Olivia, as a newer follower, I’m absolutely loving everything you guys are doing. It’s so wonderful. I love the morning meeting, kids often tell other adults stuff they don’t feel comfortable enough telling their parents. Do parents help out at the school? I think it would be great volunteering at their school.

I love it, sounds like they teach a lot of life skills. I feel regular school doesn't teach our kids basic life skills, they emphasize on teach the state required tests.

I know you said they have some days off for hunting season. So do they just stay an extra 3 or 4 days towards the end of the school year?
