Was thrown into a operatory to do a EXT, core buildup and composite with a very serious looking Dr while the girl who was supposed to show me around disappeared. girl I didn’t even know where tf the sterile lab was. 😔

we had an apprentice nurse on my course from another practice within the same corporate who came in to cover for a dentist who just came back from maternity leave and I found this girl in the stock room at 3pm crying because she didn't know what forceps to get for an extraction.

And that’s how I quit from the first office I worked at and fired from the other. I was new and the doctor told me he’d help and teach me, I was so excited to learn and be part of the team, reality: picked one wrong instrument and straight to clean the restrooms for a month?? The second office, was pure xenophobia 💀
