one side of mower has more room to reach and pull flag, nothing wrong with that, saves crucial time. I don't agree with trying to put it back, let the roller guy put it back.

Learned my lesson on that as well one Saturday morning got asked to roll greens very last minute first group was on the tee i was rushing sure enough pin got stuck drove right over the shit… never again learned quick

What about a kid checking his oil in triplex, for some reason opening fill cap. Then putting cap back cross threaded and oil spilling down motor. Spilling and smoking and wasn’t going to say anything.

I do it almost every time but yes I have hit the flag when I wasn’t good at it, but only when I absolutely know the superintendent isn’t around. And yes there’s no reason to do it besides laziness lol

After finishing my turfgrass management degree, I landed an internship at a golf course. One day, my boss told me, “Go seed the tee box.” I knew what a tee box was,but while he was explanation , he drew a big ol’ass green on the whiteboard. So naturally, I thought, “Oh cool, must be the green he wants seeded.” Long story short, I dumped all the ryegrass seed on the green like I was feeding pigeons at the park. 😂 I wasn’t fired, but let’s just say my boss gave me the kind of pep talk that puts hair on your chest.🔥🔥🔥🔥😎

I have 5 years working at the course I’m at and that’s how I was trained by the boss, he retired after 35 yrs as super. Never hit the flag.

Pull the flag and straddle the hole between your left tire and the rear tire. Pulling the flag on the pass, you have a very good chance of hitting the hole with your left tire and caving the hole edge down some.
