You should see the UK as a tourist would. Loads of Japanese people spend loads to visit Britain and then are disappointed they have to go back home. But it’s only becuase they went to the best bits. Walking through the centre of london, seeing Cambridge and Bath, beautiful Edinburgh and the medieval villages and 1000 year old castles. You’ll be more content when you see your own grass from a different perspective.

The UK isn't completely terrible it's just very good at making you miserable. I was stunned when Copenhagen had working class homes painted bright yellow. Whereas UK cities are just feel grey and lifeless which when combined with the grey sky of the winter months create a oppressively depressing environment.
