My friend be very careful with the hire car.. they make you sign a credit agreement so they can claim from you if the the other insurance refuses to pay for it.

I feel for you Giles, scammers are everywhere these days. I get more scam calls here in France than I do genuine ones, by a long, long way 😡 And as for tick-tock, I've had Elon Musk pestering me to be their friend 🙄 Just checking, YOU are the genuine article, aren't you ? 😉

La Boulangerie Du Marché :
Here is a warning from my insurers about these companies: We’re aware that sometimes customers searching for a phone number for Admiral Claims end up on the websites of claims companies that have no connection with Admiral. Customers have let us know that they have clicked on adverts leading to claims companies by mistake when they intended to contact us. These companies often don’t clearly identify who they are and won’t correct customers who believe they’re speaking to Admiral. They also use eforms that are designed to look very similar to ours. If customers end up dealing with companies that we have no affiliation with, we then have no awareness of or involvement in the claim. This can cause issues as we don’t have the option to assist or work with any of our carefully chosen suppliers to deal with your claim. Why is this happening? The reason why claims companies are showing in search results ahead of Admiral is because they’ve paid to have adverts shown when people type certain phrases into search engines. This issue is usually only reported among customers searching on mobile phones, but can also happen on desktop and laptops. Regardless of what device you’re using, you should always take care.
