I read alchemised first and started reading manacled and I'm only a few chapters in and I'm thinking alchemised is so much better and is more intense and brooding.

I finished it in 4 days 😳 it really is good. The world building and magic system is so much more complex than HP and it is MUCH DARKER. I love Manacled but part of me wishes that I could have read Alchemised without having read Manacled because knowing the twist meant this version didn’t carry the same weight for me unfortunately and that made me sad!

See I read manacled and I wasn’t super into it because it was supposed to be in the HP world. I love dramione but I couldn’t get into the story. I think im going to read alchemised thooo

I super agree it very much stands on its own. I will add I took a long break between part 1 and part 2 and regret that. Do take breaks if needed but not too long
