Explanation⬇️ More expensive paddles are better in 3 areas: Sweet Spot, Spin, and depending on the paddle, Power. The most important of these by far is SweetSpot which comes from the core material and weight distribution. The $140 is also considered “gen 2” or thermoformed which make the material much stronger. Thats why I can’t snap it in half. (Without a car) In terms of spin, you can get spin on any paddle with the right technique. However, the carbon fiber sandpapery grit will give you more RPM’s with the same technique. It feels similar to the difference of using a cheap vs expensive ping pong paddle. #pickleball
