After 32 years of 24/7 smoking, I quit cold turkey and it’s been 7 weeks today! I used excuses that it helped with health issues, no God helped and will continue to do so! I have zero desire for it now. My mind is so clear, I see things and people more clearly, life is beautiful sober.

🥰💐 I prayed. I fasted 3 days from all food…… I wrote my prayer out and laid it on the alter at church…. 2 days later I woke up, made a cup of coffee went thru my day and actually forgot that I hadn’t smoked….. I had turned it into an idol….. God Helped me remove it so I could focus on him

After 10 years almost straight of smoking, I finally woke up 4-5 months ago and said “okay God I’m ready to put this habit down to get closer to the path you designed for me” and ever since doors have been OPENING, I’m walking in rooms that I never thought I could/would. I thank God for releasing me from that habit. In the moment we think “smoking doesn’t hold me back” but it DOES. It hinders/blinds you and definitely keeps you comfortable in the now. Whoever read this far and wants to stop, YOU GOT THIS!! Allow God to guide you 🫂❤

I’m still not even feeling conviction about it. I don’t know, my husband is in prison, I smoke before I go to bed, I have PCOS and it helps with the physical pain and depression. I think at some point God will take it, but right now it doesn’t hinder my relationship with God, and it isn’t hindering my life in any way. I feel like it’s been beneficial for me.

Same here sis! I’ve always accepted Christ. I used to think nothing was wrong with it until I got closer with God. God cleans us from the inside out. I’m now 30 plus days sober I feel so free. And all Praises to God!

for me it's a part of my growth. It helps show me where I need to grow and improve. It's a tool for introspection. Every seeded herb was given to us for the growth of our spirit and I have seen it work for myself over and over. Initially it is what made me actually open a Bible.

Amen!! I quit because I had to do a drug test, than it turned out the position I was going for didn’t even drug test after all. However, I’ve read my Bible pretty much everyday since and have never pursued Jesus as much since I have. Praise the Lord, because I didn’t realize til I quit how much it ruled over my life. Now Jesus sits in the rightful place in my personal throne room. Day 79 today, after daily use for almost 9 years. Praise be to God!!
