Not exactly sure for ribbed fabrics but I have soaked pieces in a fragrance-free fabric softener bath before to help with itchiness. I think vinegar also helps and can be less irritating if you have sensitive skin.

Cos has a good sheer almost not sheer top and while it’s expensive you can find them second hand for much cheaper

I give my itchy fabrics a good cold hand wash with my least favorite owned hair conditioner and a shot of regular and cheap vinegar. I think it helps in most cases
