Did the same with my son. He was so much better with his Oppositional defiance disorder and some autism behaviors. The pediatricians in the UK start with the Feingold diet for ADD and hyperactive behaviors in children before trying medications.

I started making a lot of things at home and noticed a massive change in everyone in my home. I always look at the ingredients before deciding if I want to buy. Things with a long list of ingredients that shouldn't have a long list of ingredients are a big no in my house now.

I use red40 as a stimulate because caffeine doesn’t do anything for me. As an adult it’s not overwhelming like with kids but anyways It passes the blood brain barrier and people with adhd are affected by it more than neurotypicals

So both of my children 11 and nine were diagnosed with ADHD when they were both five and I cut out red dye 40 out of their diet foods drink drinks anything and I have noticed a tremendous difference in their behavior red dye 40 makes some people very aggressive that’s what I noticed

Red40 medicine is the worst for us. First dose my daughter has straight nightmares. If all I have is red40 meds I will go to the store middle of the night or we skip it till the next day.
