@notsavera: GOT MY FIRST TATTOO IN NEW YORK. TIMES SQUARE. Most impulsive thing l've ever done considering I overthink literally everything ok ok cringe alert cuz l'm about to be very emo and pick me (saying I'm about to be emo makes it less emo cuz at least l'm self aware) I'm 20. l've lived in 4 countries, gone to 6 schools, 3 colleges. I move so often that every six months it feels like l'm starting life from scratch. And somehow I still can't find a place that feels like home. Wherever I go, l'm always a little off. If I look like people, I don't think like them. If I think like them, I don't sound like them. My accent is cooked. I'm always the outsider, always different not in a cool mysterious way, but in a weird weird way. That insecurity of not being "normal" has gotten worse. The older I get, the scarier it feels like maybe I'll never fully fit anywhere or find people who really get me (eww emoo) Maybe I'll never find one physical place where I belong, but this little digital space feels like home. I get to be myself here. It made me realize being different isn't always a curse. Ordinary doesn't create extraordinary (type shi type shi) So yeah, this tattoo is my way of accepting myself a little more. "Built different" (probably wrong) . And also it's just funny, cuz I literally say it all the time. The idea of me being 80 years old with "built different" on my arm is funny to me. That's all. Sorry for the emo ramble.
