@okdance2: In April 2008, a Brazilian priest rose into the sky with a thousand colorful balloons. He hoped to build a support center for truck drivers. At first, people cheered—but the wind turned, carrying him out to sea. Communication faded, and the balloons drifted away. Faith lifted him up, yet it also carried him into the unknown.#truestory #usatrending #viral #storytime #true

Here’s my take on why a lot of Filipinos lowkey love the cold ❄️🇵🇭 First of all—the Philippines is tropical. We don’t get snow. “Cold” back home usually means a few months of slightly cooler weather… and that’s it. Second—we grew up romanticizing it. So many of the Christmas movies we watched as kids were set in the U.S. or the West. Home Alone, snowy streets, sweaters, hot chocolate… as a kid, I really thought that was peak Christmas magic. Third—sometimes you just want a change of environment. I’ve heard the same from people who grew up in cold places and moved south for the warmth. I guess at some point, people outgrow the climate they were raised in and start craving the opposite. And this one’s a bit personal—but cold weather has been great for my skin. A lot of us Filipinos have oily skin, and living somewhere colder actually helped. Less oil, fewer breakouts 😂 I know the cold isn’t for everyone, but I get why a lot of Filipinos enjoy it—at least for a while. Also can we take a second to appreciate this Go-To Oversized Hoodie from @Fabletics @Fabletics Men ? The multiple pockets are actually useful, and that dropped shoulder fit gives such an effortless, relaxed look. Cozy without looking sloppy. Perfect for days like this, cold and windy. If you’re thinking of upgrading your fits: Sign up as a VIP through link in my bio to get up to 80% off your first items and 70% off the rest, plus up to 50% off year-round. You will not regret going for Fabletics. How about you? Are you team cold weather or tropical heat? 🌴❄️ And if you moved abroad, did your preference change? #FableticsPartner #fableticsmenspromoter #nurses #nursinglife #philippines
