Walmart check person at the front door pick and choose which customer they want them to show a receipt, I’m not going to show them anything because they stand and watch customers at the cash register.

I never stopped and actually would threaten bodily harm, then I started working there, that was 7 years ago. I worked for 2 years at the door and hated having to check anyone.

Some of our Walmarts here now have security and state constables at both entrances. The one that is the worst had someone steal over 20k in electronics right out the store. Half the store is locked up. I will drive to another one and I refuse to show my slip.they will start walking to you and I say I have it and continue to leave.

after I pay try and stop me just to check my receipt if they did their job and run it up their self they wouldn't need the checkpoint

Well, I mean, I wouldn’t wait in line to scan my receipt but if I can just go scan it and move on, I will, but I’m gonna leave the receipt behind too so someone else have to pick that one up

Where I am from, we have two Walmarts the only time that they asked to see the receipts. If some of the stuff is not in the bags I repeat the only time they asked to see the receipts if the stuff is not in the bag.

The reason this is being done is because of massive shoplifting! Honest customers have nothing to hide; yes, there is a bit of inconvenience of wait. It's the price we all pay for these entitled shoplifters. SAMS CLUB checks every receipt as well, CLOSELY, more closely than Walmart.

this is exactly why I do not stop at Walmart because it is an invasion of your privacy and technically no other store does this s*** Walmart just wants to try to make a name on tick tock or wherever so that they get seen well you're getting bad publicity and people are going to stop shopping at your goddamn store
