As young girls come into adulthood at one time & we have all encountered that doom realization that we would be valued for our bodies. So the more we normalize creating this brain rot media content of sexually suggesting content (fed directly to strangers you have never met and likely wouldn’t actually have sex irl), the more we perpetuate this idea we are only valuable as sexual objects. We spend all our effort in cosmetics, surgeries, diets, workouts, etc… all to appear sexually appealing for as long as possible before our old age swipes our youth. Celebrities in history and current times (Kim K perfect example) have progressed this idea we need symmetrical perfect body and facial structures and to appease others by our looks. Yet how empty and lonely it will feel one day when we grip so tightly to our esteemed and polished (borderline fake) self image of being sexually attractive that we no longer remember the child within us that used to dream and wonder magical things about the universe. 90% of content I see in today’s world is thirst traps, and we must rethink how we want to portray ourselves beyond our physicality that confines women into such high unrealistic/fetishized versions that men shape us to be. True self acceptance of who you are projecting yourself to be is what is most important, just be authentic and never forget the playful and curious girl you once were before you sought the eyes of others to feel noticed in life. Notice your own self, acknowledge your beauty without the need to flaunt it for the world to witness. Modesty is special because only YOU can validate your own beauty and worth, & no amount of likes could come close to that level of self love. Vanity is loud and obnoxious, it eats away at your ability to connect with others because you immediately judge yourself and others by their appearance instead of how they treat you. I promise you are worth more than your vessel, and your mind and heart’s calling matter way more than the number of reactions you get on any post you share.
