That's because it's expensive and we can barely care for ourselves. If they everything wasn't so expensive then having 6+ children on a one person income would be easy. My partner makes really good money and we still can't get by. What he makes now, we would've been in a very comfortable place years ago. People aren't able to purchase their first homes until their mid 40s on average.

it's because the population is aging in every country but African countries and the only reason they are surviving is foreign aid and aids medication from said foreign aid. the wealthy countries boomers are the largest generation and are at the end of their lives and their children did not have enough children to replace the population so when they are old whose going to be the workers? whose going to take care of old millennials? there isn't enough genZ and gen Alpha because they didn't make enough kids. Now because of the wealthier populations in decline this means cannot afford foreign aid to Africa anymore and they won't be able to self sustain and they'll have a huge population drop too and sadly it will be from disease and famine
