ev way too expensive to charge it 89p kw for example if your car battery 77kw it will cost £68.53p to get 250 miles

Don’t need to use public chargers very often, charge from home - really cheap at less than 3p per mile. I have used IONITY and other chargers a couple of times and I haven’t had any holds on my card. Maybe relates to your credit rating?

This happens with card machines on the petrol pumps. I think one i used reserved £100 on cards. So....You haven't been charged. The amount had been reserved. Once it verified that there is no charge for electricity, the reserved amount disappears.

Maybe the issue is your car or you card lol if every simple charger gives you issues .. use IONITY all the time and they usually refund the amount within hours worst case scenario
