I think her response is so disrespectful because I feel like he was trying to be really respectful because sometimes interviewers might not necessarily mean to ask rude questions or uncomfortable questions, but they do. At least he cared enough to ask.

In journalism school we’re encouraged to ask these questions, esp as a closing one because it opens the floor for the person to dig into something ppl aren’t getting, are missing, or a new avenue the artist wants to explore in interviews, especially when interviewers keep asking about the same receptive themes. It’s not always lazy, but allows them to open the floor to the interviewee. Sometimes you get the best insigh, angles, and quotes from it because it allows the artist to give more/something different if they so choose
