@elileviofficial: Did you know your favorite makeup brand might still test on animals?! 🤯😳😡 So many brands will “claim” they are cruelty free meanwhile they pay third parties to do the dirty work for them. Another common tactic is brands stating they only test on animals “where required by law” but last time I checked there are plenty of brands that sell their products globally without ever compromising their ethics for profit. China laws are tricky because although they no longer made animal testing a premarket requirement, many “specialized” products physically sold in-stores are subject to animal testing like sunscreens. Post market testing is also very common in China. As long as a product is made in china and not sold there, the brand can be considered cruelty free! *Just because a brand is NOT backed by Leaping Bunny and/or PETA doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not cruelty free. It’s just a standardized measurement that helps bring awareness to the cause. Did any of these brands shock you? Want to know which brands test on animals in hair, body, and/or skincare?!
