Nope , that’s when you stand up hand him the kids and tell him “your turn” and walk away. There is clearly two parents there and you shouldn’t be struggling when help is an arms reach away. Speak up mama

My husband did this the other day when he was getting his hair cut. We took our toddler so he can watch and “get used to it”…he just ran around until I got tired of chasing him and we left. It was not fun.

My husband used to do this until I started leaving him at parties like I’m not having a good time you know I’m miserable , I’m leaving you can stay idk how you’re getting home but stay if you like. Now he always helps 🙃

My ex would be laughing & talking at his family or friends parties. I’d be watching the kids whole time. If it was my friends or family he’d refuse to go.

You guys need husbands who will get up and help without being asked. Stop settling. My husband will not even let me carry the diaper bag. He gets the stroller and puts the baby in the stroller, he carries the bags and everything. If I’m struggling with the kids, he takes the baby or he will take our other 2 to dance or play. If they’re really acting up, he will “turn on his dad voice” and correct their behavior.

This is so sad. Whenever we leave the house to eat or an event my man handles our toddler bc he wants me to enjoy myself and look cute 😭
