I had an emergency c section and before they took me and talking to the anesthesiologist, I was begging her for all the anti nausea 😂 I told her throwing up was my biggest nightmare and she said “I got you”

Genuinely curious as to what the surgeon does if you are throwing up? I’m so scared to get nauseous and to mess them up.. or even after the surgery I can’t imagine coughing let alone throwing up. I’m scared to do this again but I have no choiceee 😆

Girl why didn’t u ask for something? The anaesthetist assistant was sitting behind me and every 5/10 minutes was asking if I was okay or felt nauseous or anything so he could give me appropriate medication through my drip🥲

I was dry heaving during my third c section and they just suctioned out my mouth like a dentist would 😆 I couldn’t puke even if I wanted to. I couldn’t feel a thing and had no stomach muscles to use.

THIS, I have been terrified of this happening in a few weeks what do they do?! I have a tendency to gag from anxiety and I just know that having to go through my c section will cause me to gag….

The anesthesiologist was so nice. He just kept rubbing it in front of my face And saying “to ward off bad spirits” 😭

I told them I was nauseous and I got some lavender scented thing to sniff. That made it WORSE.

Same. As soon as I went numb, I became so sick. Throwing up, sweating, couldn’t even talk. I thought something was going horribly wrong.

Always ask for meds! I had Zofran through an iv and a patch behind my ear.

Im sorry your arms worked???? I was a limp noodle during mine, it may have been what they were putting in the IV though

I told my anesthesiologist I was gonna throw up and he handed me a suction tool the dentist uses and I looked at him confused and said I need something else and he handed me a bag which I said he can hold and I very silently ( idk how) threw up 😌 he was a cool dude tho we laughed through the majority of the surgery

I definitely threw up all over the place because the medicine wasn’t helping but the anesthesiologist cleaned my face & hair with a wash cloth, he was the sweetest.

Why was I never told about this!! My people fave me a nasty vinegar shot and told me it would help and then I puked it up still then the 2nd time o was told “tell me when your going to get sick and I’ll get you a bag” and I did tell him and still didn’t get the bag in time and puked on myself laying down 😭😭🤣
