@reginaldraccoon: While there’s no “official” rabies vaccine for Raccoons, vets and studies advise the K9 rabies vaccine is every bit as effective in Raccoons as it is in K9’s. Reggie gets a “3 year” rabies vaccine every year, just to be extra safe. He also gets the other annual K9 vaccines, and dewormer every 4-6 months.

My daughter has a six-year-old raccoon that she has raised since he was 2 inches long. And when they come to visit, he has got the busiest hands. He’s just gotta look and touch at everything and he’s so sweet.
