for me, it’s okay na walang skyscraper sa gensan. you can freely admire the sky; the sunsets, the sunrise, the cloudy, etc.

Something is really off about Gensan’s economy. It feels like whenever something big is happening, it almost dies down immediately. It feels like it cannot sustain momentum whenever it gains it. Many schools, but not enoguh industry to absorb the graduates. Many malls, but not enough to fill every stall inside (vacant stalls sa veranza, SM, Robinsons, ug KCC). Big airport, but few flights. Many tourist spots, but no strong tourist arrivals. Wide and capable roads, but chaotic public transport. If you look at it with a rational eye, Gensan feels like it has it all but at the same time very lacking.

GenSan is the best place I've ever visited in my opinion, we honestly thought that it is dangerous there but after those days we spent to stay there, we realized how healthy the community they have, people are so kind and honest even though we didn't understand their dialect, we still feel how they responded respectfully to us (elders or teens) so visiting GenSan is one of my favorite memories, tho I lose in my game, but I enjoyed a lot in General Santos City. Thank you for your kindness dear people out thereee!!! 💞🫂

Been reading comments… I studied in Cebu for some years and came back in Gensan and I saw the beauty of Gensan despite the fact “no improvements” “no investors” “no skyscrapers”. Gensan can give you your own slow and steady pace for living, in Cebu people are rushing, you need to move fast, stressing. I am from a 4th generation family who lived in Gensan and stories from my elders just shows that Gensan did improved and will continue to improve.To the comments just continue to love Gensan and fight for Gensan

6 years palang ko sa Gensan and one thing I've noticed especially sa weather is gibagyo na tanan ang gensan grabe ka init tbh lang jod mura kag nakig cuddle ni lucifer parehas karun naay bagyo pero hastang inita.

Actually, maganda man din ang GenSan ba kung talagang mag start ang improvement sa tao. Hindi kasi talaga nakikinig sometimes yung mga driver, hindi sumusunod sa rules. Not all, buy majority. Then when it comes sa safety, wa jud. Di ka kalakaw kada gabii. Maskin buntag, maka feel ka na dili safe.
