They won’t even give me a full month supply. I get 28 days or nothing. And if I delay a refill, sometimes they fully erase the prescription from my history.

It’s genuinely so terrible trying to get meds in a shortage. I ran out and couldn’t get a refill during college finals and almost lost my mind calling all the pharmacies near me

This is why my doctors don't let me leave the office without telling me when my next appointment is and watching me put the 4 reminders in my phone 😭 I told them I'd call them later to set it up once and they told me I'm no longer allowed to do that. It may have been 8 months before I called but who could have seen that coming!

My ADHD doc used to give me my prescriptions in PAPER FORM for the next three months. Meaning me, the person who loses everything , had to hold on to three pieces of irreplaceable paper for THREE MONTHS. I had nightmares about those papers. I used to tape them on the ceiling so they couldn’t get lost.

Plus most insurance companies won't pay for it, or they'll make you get a prior auth every month while they constantly fax my pharmacist ads trying to scare them into thinking that adhd meds are evil

I quit taking antidepressants because it was too much of an effort getting refills. convincing my doctor that yes I do need these medications still please send a refill to the pharmacy and him taking weeks to do so while im cut cold turkey. no doctor in my network is accepting new patients so I cant even switch. plus ive been told that I should get tested for both adhd and autism...but guess who cant afford to get tested by either! I was almost diagnosed as a kid like I was screened and they were like yep but she needs psychological evaluation for official diagnosis and get meds but my mom said no, not bc of cost bc it wouldve been FREE, but bc she didnt believe in adhd or autism unless it was like EXTREME non functioning.

got diagnosed at 27, never got medication officially, know it would do wonders for me because I bummed XR off my friend in college for a week, but I don't want to deal with getting called a drug seeker so I just keep coping

I got “pre diagnosed” wtv that means to get accommodations for school. Complained for MONTHS about not being able to sleep and did not get prescribed Kapvay until I mentioned excessive sweating as a side effect from a different medication
