I mean NO disrespect by this video to the unfortunate gentlemen who has apparently lost his life here 💔, and to his family 🙏🏻 Explanation >> I created this video to explain iconostásia—the small Greek roadside memorial shrines many people notice on holiday and ask about. I picked this particular shrine because it was safe to stop and film; a lot of shrines are on blind corners or next to steep drop-offs, where stopping would put people at risk. While filming, I realized this shrine carries a nameplate with a date. I reviewed the footage and tried to crop it out, but that would have cut the main shot and made the video unusable. Rather than act as if I hadn’t seen it, I chose to include one brief shot acknowledging the plaque—so the person remembered here isn’t ignored. The goal is purely educational and respectful, not sensational or “for laughs.” If anyone connected to the person commemorated feels this shouldn’t be online, please message me and I will remove it.
