The reason it’s toxic is because attractiveness is not a skill. Doing well in school is a skill. Having a successful career is a skill. And saying that attractive people get better grades and make more money, just for being attractive, is exactly the problem you’re perpetuating

Correlation doesn't equal causation. Which is the hen and which is the egg in this scenario? It might be more likely that beauty isn't the only factor. It might be more likely to be perceived as beautiful if you have better mental/physical health, a higher wage (sucess) and so on.

It’s because it’s largely out of a persons control. Genetics rule when it comes to looks. Even plastic surgery can only do so much. Especially if someone’s aging.
