happened on metformin, the drastic lowering of blood sugar can cause fluid buildup behind the eye, and it will stabilize as your sugars stabilize, but a prescription change may be needed

I took mounjaro for 2 weeks and I still have side effects and my vision is very blurry that it causes me to feel sick and they’re always very sensitive to the sun light and computer and phone

I absolutely experienced this. Totally lost my near vision, but far away: crystal clear, better than before. My eye dr said it's from glucose leaving the eye, and it bends the lense. After 3 months now, my vision has reverted. Close is fine again, and lost the crystal clear far bision. Why can't I have both?! 😫

I’m the same, I’m on week 20 of 2.5mg still and blurred vision, also dizziness! I drink between 2.5-3litres of water daily so surely can’t be dehydrated x

I've been experiencing this and I'm convinced it's Mounjaro. I just informed my provider and I'm waiting on a call back. I still need to lose more weight but fear I'll need to stop. I'm worried that my eyes won't recover. I'm glad your sight has improved since stopping 💕

Six months on Mojarro cannot drive my car at night because I cannot see three months off Mojarro. I can drive my car at night and see again. I also had some headaches.

I was put on mounjaro for my diabetes, it’s strange you should mention the eyesight changes because all you mention has occurred to me. I came off mounjaro 4 months ago due to what I assumed were other side effects or deterioration in my fibromyalgia or diabetes. I had my eyes checked at the optician, told I have dry eye & I have difficulty driving at night but otherwise I was told my vision was as before( I do wear glasses) but didn’t need new glasses? I’m still getting blurry vision though. I’m intrigued to follow this feed also as my dr wants to put me back on mounjaro again for my diabetes !!😳

This has happened to me. Before I started, I only needed the first stage up in reading glasses, due to being in my late forties. In the last few months, my eyesight has really changed.

I get one eye that literally won’t open in the morning like it’s super dry and I’ve only ever worn reading glasses but within 6 months I’ve gone back to the opticians and they said I now need distance glasses as my eye muscles have become weaker 🙈
