Same, disputed with bank and told them Apple would not refund but I did not authorize aka give said app permission. They refunded instantly.

The sooner consumers understand that big corporations do not care about you the better. They are impersonal therefore they do not have concessions for mistakes. If they can prove that there was not error in their end you will not be refunded. I work in customer services a big company and I deal with things like this all the time and I wish I could just warn people. It doesn’t matter how you are affected they do not care try to find another way because appealing for an exception never works

It happened to me one time I called apple and they refunded the money, so what I did I bought him those credit cards from Walmart or get a prepaid visa from your bank for kids I use Mydoh in Canada
