@loftia.gg: We’ve made some new sound effects for the skate rails in Loftia based on your feedback and suggestions! 🛹☺️ Vote for your fave in the poll below (use earphones if you want to get the best quality) Our sound designer Nigel makes the majority of our sfx from scratch using a combination of foley recording and field recording. It’s a time consuming process that involves sourcing lots of different materials, finding the right locations and testing different methods. Last time we only showed you guys the very raw recordings of the sound, which is why they sounded more rough and unpolished 😅 This time we’ve mixed, layered and polished the raw sounds so that they represent what the sfx will actually be like in the game! The visual effects of these skate rails are also a work in progress! ⚠️ We have tried doing a different vfx from the metallic sparks previously though, as we wanted a bit more of a techy vibe to it. However it’s not set in stone yet and we’re still experimenting with other vfx options - let us know if you have any ideas!
