After days of denying it, he finally came clean about breaking the window.

It’s time to come clean about what happened. (무슨 일이 있었는지 솔직히 말할 시간이야.)

Reading through Exodus 16 this week as our pastor has been teaching on trusting God… and wow, I needed this more than I even realized. I’ve been exhausted trying to meet everyone’s expectations, trying to keep up, trying to make everything work. But this chapter reminded me of something deep: The Israelites weren’t just hungry… they were afraid God wouldn’t provide tomorrow, so they tried to gather more than they needed today. And if I’m honest… I’ve been doing the same thing. We live in a world that tells us to do more, work more, carry more. But that’s not how God designed us to live. That’s how the people lived under Pharaoh—constant pressure, constant demand, no rest. But God… God told them to gather only what they needed for the day. No more. No less. And on the day of rest, He had already provided. That means provision wasn’t based on hustle—it was based on trust. Something else that hit me hard: When we start striving and things aren’t working, we often lean on “what makes sense” instead of what God is actually saying. And when we don’t trust God, we start to grumble… but not really at people—at Him. So I’ve been asking myself: Do I trust God even when it doesn’t make sense? Where am I choosing pressure over obedience? Do I really believe He is good and faithful? This week, if you feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or like you’re working nonstop just to keep up… Pause. Maybe God isn’t asking you to do more. Maybe He’s asking you to trust Him more. Lay down what He never asked you to carry. He will provide exactly what you need—no more, no less—right on time. 🤍 If you feel like you’re constantly running, trying to keep up, trying to meet every expectation… this is for you. Exodus 16 reminded me: The Israelites tried to gather more than they needed because they were afraid God wouldn’t come through tomorrow. Sound familiar? We do the same thing. We overwork. We overthink. We carry more than we were meant to. But God never asked us to live like we’re under pressure 24/7. He said: take what you need for today… and trust Me for tomorrow. Provision doesn’t come from burnout. It comes from trust. So this week: Stop trying to do everything. Stop trying to please everyone. And start asking: “God, what did YOU actually ask me to carry today?” Then trust Him with the rest. 🤍
