This is one if the best areas in Tokyo. We went to several of these bars and met a very nice Japanese guy in one. It ended up being one of the best experiences of our trip. It’s not exactly the most touristy area, so if you’re just there for sushi, anime, and sakura, then it’s probably not for you. But if you like authentic Japan, this is a fun place to visit. We talked to a Japanese guy through the bartender who was able to translate and had a great discussion about life in Japan.

My friends and I went to a karaoke bar in Osaka tonight, great experience over all tbh, but towards the end they kept adding songs in front of ours to try and keep us there longer (we were a group of 4 and its 1500 yen per person per 30 minutes). Got out of there as soon as we were at the end of the next 30 minutes after they started doing it. Again, great at first but once they started that it was over.
