Even punching holes in walls was something I thought as "normal" because I had seen family members do it when angry. I'm here to tell you those are the warning signs. The big red flag waving strong in your face. Abuse is progressive. It only gets worse. You show you will stay through the holes in the wall and the lies, the cheating, the addiction...why wouldn't you stay when he starts hitting you? Domestic abusers will push you till you walk away or they put you in the ground. Walk at the first sign...before you love them, before you move in together and they have tou isolated from your loved ones...before you are helpless.
