I've a ford transit connect 2.0l 6speed 15000km coming up asked main dealer if oil need to be changed and filters. was told 30k is the first service. I trained as an agri mechanic have some bit of understanding. I feel it should get it serviced oil and filter and what 2hrs max say 200 euro max parts and labour or would you agree with main dealer and say 30k is it's first service

gas how vw can do a wet belt and it's trouble free,i know timing belts are under more strain but some are breaking up at low milage, surely they can make a better quality belt like the vw to last the battle

I rang 5 different vw dealerships when I wanted mine done, 4 out of the 5 didn't have a clue it existed. safe to say the skoda garage in kilkenny got my business only ones knew it existed. now was 1025euro all in but still the main dealers vw around the country not a notion

On the note of Passat I’ve a 191 2.0 estate and I’ve noticed when I lock the car the heating control’s stay lit constant. Any idea why? It’s driving me insane
