My stove elements crapped out but the oven worked fine, so for almost a year we used crockpot, rice cooker and mini Forman grill, found out cost to repair the elements was the same as a new stove, so we just bought a new one..

I had an old working stove, but it was borderline dangerous. Still used a pilot light. Looked like someone lit a fire in the broiler. I mean not from the stove but had like a campfire in there or something.

just so some know....rain barrels are illegal in most areas prone to drought. Check area statutes

next spring in my city we are getting taxed on waste rain water. it's absolutely ridiculous, when we think we can get ahead, the govt adds another tax. years ago they put on a tax for water waste from the house, it's basically the same price as the money going into your home and they charge the same amount to leave it. so if you drink water from you home and pee it out on public property, you still get a tax on it.

My stove is from the early 1970’s. Better believe I’ve had it rewired twice and I’ll do it again thousand times before I buy a new one. I’ll 💀 with that thing. TBH it’ll probably outlast me anyway.
