All this crazy Technology to basically just start a compressor and a fan . They always need a "New Board as soon as the warranty expires" job security

They can purchase extended warranty’s. It’s up to the customers or the installation contractors to provide the options.

We installed some carriers couple of years ago that had a Honeywell controller on it and was doing some crazy stuff like this. Called tech support and they had no clue told me they was going to get in touch with engineers and still waiting on call back. But I had Found 0-10v for sensor was picking up induced voltage off of high voltage going to the indoor motor. Ran shielded cable to sensor and solved the problem. Is it possible sensors going off of analog voltage instead of resistance on these units and doing same thing?

What bothers me is the terminology. The cooling is “prevented” as in something is wrong before cooling or is there a fault/error? It’s sounds super open ended with no clue leads. But I would check all wiring terminals to make sure they ain’t broke, wiggling, or burnt. Heck, I’ve had the pins push out if the plugs just enough to make contact when the door is shut and pushing on the wires

I’ve seen a few units lock out on sensors with no lockouts on the boards or anything. Are you able to see them?

check carefully all parameters. check carefully all sensor wiring. verify modules addressed correctly.

Same problem, I have units going into "Shutdown mode" and no alerts or faults. Carrier tech comes out with an update. Works for a while but still has issues.

Worked at an oem. They can buy 10 year parts, labor, and refrigerant. The schools down here get it and make out like bandits.
