If you’d told beginning-of-maternity-leave me that THIS would be my life now… I honestly wouldn’t have believed you 🥹 I was stretching everything as far as it would go on maternity pay, constantly worrying and in the back of my mind, already dreading the day I’d have to go back to work. Because I knew one thing… I wasn’t going to be ready! But I also knew that if I wanted things to be different, I needed to find something I could actually fit around being a mum. Something I could learn in nap times. Do from home. And build without sacrificing even MORE time with my girls. That’s when I came across digital products & Canva.. And honestly? I was sceptical AF 😂 I had ZERO experience. No clue what I was doing. And absolutely no idea if it would work for me. I just knew I was willing to TRY. I was a complete beginner so I started with ready-made digital products while I learnt how everything worked, then gradually started creating my own too. And that little side hustle has now helped me extend my maternity leave, massively reduce my working hours when I returned AND create extra income from home 🙌 The most important thing though.. having more choice over how my life looks as a mum! That’s the part I’ll never stop being grateful for. So if you’re on maternity leave right now feeling those same pressures.. Just know there are other options for us mums!
