You can also not dilute it and use it on everything. We just finished our kitchen…total color drench.

At the paint store - Ask for that specific paint color at 50%. Easier than trying to mix it yourself.

All these comments about painting different surfaces with different finishes of paint...do they not realize you can buy the same color in different finishes? 🙄 Just bc you're color drenching doesn't mean you're using the same can of paint. ☺

Long time painter here. Done this before and it does look really good. Just use different sheens for each one and it will make it pop even more. Flat on ceilings, semi gloss on trim and whatever you like on the walls but nothing higher than semi gloss.

don't dilute it and just do everything the same color. when you drench there is NO trim to paint except where it meets the floor!

But you need to use cabinet and trim paint for the trim. Wall paint for the walls. It’s not the same thing. If you paint trim with wall paint it will scratch off really really easily.

as a professional painter, I would like to day yes you can, however trim is made to be an accent piece, it usually looks weird when painted the same color as the walls. ceilings can sometimes be the same as the walls but it depends on the overall vibe of the room and the color of paint. some houses do have all three the exact same color but those are expensive houses that are built to be painted that way. most houses people have regardless of size or location, are built in mind to have three separate colors. if you decide to do one colorful everything I suggest at least adding an accent wall in bigger rooms to break it up

I color drenched an entire house. SW alabaster. Flat on ceilings, eggshell on walls, semi gloss on trim. It’s a smaller home, made it look bigger. Alabaster is a warmer white. Love it
